Bathing tiger

The ninth colour palette of Huely* is quite a fun and bright one, and I really thought it would work well with animals, especially those with patterns, starting off with this bathing tiger. I have painted a similar image to this many years ago, which was actually one of the first times I attempted using a limited colour palette, though I have to say that this one and its colours work a lot better than the one from back in the day.

* Huely is a limited colour palette challenge I run during July. The name is the combination of Hue (colour) and the month its held (July). For each image I use a maximum of 5 colours (+ black and white) to paint my images.
