Polar Bear Tessellation Holiday Gift Wrap

Polar Bears round out our series of holiday tessellation patterns. As with all tessellations, this one creates a seamless grid with no overlaps and no gaps. That proved to be a challenge with how the bear's head influenced the shape of the surrounding bodies and vice versa. We chose to prioritize the head and neck as much as possible to emphasize the specific features of Polar Bears, and then rounded out the repeating pattern with winter scarves on a few select bears.
