Billy Bacci Album Art
Hey everyone. Here’s one from the archives. This is the art for my friend and bandmate’s solo album. This project was awesome because Billy let me listen to the songs in advance, and he trusted me to interpret them into a cover. The lyrics are sweet, at times droll, at times self-deprecating. Sonically, there’s an interesting interplay lo and hi-fi, analog and synthetic. The whole thing is undergirded by a nostalgia for more innocent times. All of these ideas bubbled over into this collage.
It’s fun to do thinking like this. I want to do more of it.
