UNICORNFEST: Product Design

Intro

Unicornfest: A Bristol based trail of painted Unicorn statues by local artists to raise awareness and funds for Leukaemia Care

The proposal below led to us becoming the creative partner for the project; designing the brand identity, web design, and iOS/Android XR App from scratch.

We had already been involved in some initial conversations and workshops, and we based our proposal on what we envisioned Leukaemia Care wanted and needed. Below is the initial proposal that we sent:

All pages below are from the 'Design Story' a 'sketchbook PDF' we create along the way to document the design process and progress

The proposal pages above won us the project and we drew up a design brief.

Brief

To create a full brand identity, concepts and style guide for designing and building a marketing website and XR mobile app to gamify the Unicorn trail experience in Bristol.

Once the client had signed off the brand above we then looked at finding complimentary typefaces to further build the brand.

After selecting a final font we moved to locking down a spacing and sizing scale we could use to start working on components for the UI design.

Button styles to be used throughout the client's products.

Alongside the components, we created a selection of custom vector graphics or 'stickers' to sprinkle through the different digital products and marketing campaigns.

Phase 2: iOS/Android XR App

After the brand and website had been launched work started on the W.I.P XR App...
