City Teaching Alliance :: Cost Calculator

The goal of this interactive estimator tool on the City Teaching Alliance website was to show potential participants how much the program would cost them. It was important that the users be able to see not only the costs but the different financial opportunities that would be available to offset those expenses.

Because there were multiple interdependent factors in the calculation, we worked to make the controls easy to understand and used colored containers to differentiate groups of information. Following the calculator with a call to action to connect with a recruiter provides users with easy access to joining the program after viewing their costs.
