Buysellon - eCommerce App

Hey 👋 This is a project I worked on recently and I wanted to share with you guys!

Buysellon is an app designed to buy and sell products, where you can contact the seller directly to arrange to pay for and pick up the item.

Project Overview:

Research and Ideation:

User Research: Identified the need for a simple, direct communication channel between buyers and sellers.
Market Analysis: Studied existing eCommerce platforms to pinpoint gaps, focusing on user experience and direct communication.

Design Process:

Wireframing:
- Created low-fidelity sketches to map out essential features: product listings, chat functionality, and user profiles.
- Ensured intuitive navigation paths for both buyers and sellers.
Prototyping and Visual Design:
- Developed interactive prototypes to test the user flow and core functionalities.
- Opted for a clean, modern aesthetic with a minimalistic color palette to enhance usability.
- Ensured visual consistency across all screens with carefully chosen typography and iconography.
User Interface (UI):
- Designed a straightforward interface emphasizing ease of use.
- Included essential features: search, filters, product details, and a chat function for direct communication.
User Experience (UX):
- Focused on reducing friction in the buying and selling process.
- Incorporated user feedback loops to continuously improve the app’s functionality and interface.

Challenges:

Balancing security with ease of use in direct payment and communication features.
Ensuring seamless user experience across different devices and screen sizes.

Outcome:

Launched a user-friendly eCommerce platform with streamlined processes for buying and selling.
Received positive feedback on the app’s simplicity and efficiency in facilitating direct communication between users.
