Join us Thursday, August 30th for a casual evening of talking shop! We’ll have some hors d’oeuvre (so fancy) and refreshments (boozy and otherwise).

Open to all realms of designers and artists; graphic, industrial, web, product, architectural, furniture, fashion, game, floral, scenic, lighting, yacht (please somebody tell a yacht designer).

This will be the first of many Detroit design meetups hosted by Detroit Labs where we all can get together to talk design news, projects, tools and most of all just say hello to your local design community. Don’t worry, it’s nothing formal, and we guarantee NO forced interaction or networking. This will be a super casual event, so bring a friend, get here early, stay late, and bring something to share, if you want.

Somemore information regarding the event:

  • There will be a sign on our front door that says “Detroit Dribbble Meetup” with the badge design on it, in case you’re having trouble finding our building.

  • There will be someone at our door from 7-8pm, they will let you in the door and get you to the elevator.

  • If you plan to arrive after 8pm, you’ll need to use the digital intercom to the left of the door. Just find Detroit Labs, give us a ring, and we’ll let you in and come scoop you up.

  • There are several parking garages nearby and lots of street parking. If you’re able/willing to take a little bit of a walk (~8 minutes) the Gem Theatre parking garage is typically the cheapest covered parking nearby. Otherwise street parking is your best bet.

  • Please feel free to send a note if you have any questions (shawn.golden@detroitlabs.com)
