Hand Mirror: App Icon

I've built my first Mac app — Hand Mirror: A one-click camera check, right from the menu bar ✨

I was pretty excited to design a Mac app icon, and also completely out of my comfort zone. The whole project is meant to not be taken too seriously, and the development and design was pretty casual and fun.

This app icon is filled with throwbacks and inspiration: • The camera is inspired by iOS 6 camera icon. • The green light was picked from the actual MacBook camera LED. • The red curtain background is a reference to Photo Booth's icon, where the whole idea for the app came from. • My stupid face is supposed to be the face of me checking myself in the mirror and making sure I look presentable (failed).
