Wild Azalea

Here's another illustration of a favorite song to pass the time. This one is "Wild Azalea" by Eric Bachmann. To me this song is about longing for the familiar rejuvenating comfort of home. I hope you all have that in abundance right now as much as is possible. I know I'm going to do what I can to continue to put soothing and lovely things into the world as much as I can, whether that be sharing songs, sketching, or trying to keep my thoughts and actions positive... Here is a link to this beautiful song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7GQ1NthIWA

And here are the lyrics...
“Wild Azalea came and went
Made way for the summer
A southern belle rings in my head
To brown eyes I surrender

The lightning sky
The roll of thunder
And we try and try
To re-fill

Elizabeth I'm leaving again
First light Tuesday morning
The sound of thunder fills my ear
Guides me on forever

And when our time
Close together
We will try and try
To re-fill"
