Take Lead Album Cover Design

I designed this album cover for a local band—Take Lead—who released their single "Falling" on April 17, 2020. This illustration took me out of my comfort zone, as I worked to incorporate elements from the lyrics of the song into the composition. I drew mostly from the line that mentions "courage rising up like currents" in the singer's chest as he watches the sunset with a girl he realizes that he is falling in love with. It's a very sweet song, and they are great guys to work with! Plus, I got to hear their music early, which is a bonus, haha.
