Herbrand Vintage Logo - Circa 1923

The Herbrand Company was founded in 1881 in Fremont, Ohio. As the automobile gained popularity in the early 20th century, Herbrand expanded the production of drop-forged tools for automobile tool kits. By the mid-1930s, Herbrand had broadened their tool line to include a full range of automotive service tools, including sockets and drive tools, a wide variety of wrenches, pliers, gear pullers, and a large number of specialty tools.
