Comet Props 2

More hero props from the film "Comet". The director had a very specific idea of what the space-themed cigarette packs should look like on camera. The one you'll see them using in the film is different than this one, but this one was my personal favorite.

We ultimately went with a Soviet cosmonaut look on the packs, but this one was inspired by Smashing Pumpkins t-shirts I wore in the 90s. I just thought I'd share what could have been.

I built hundreds of cigarette packs by hand for the film. Each version had to be constructed, stuffed with prop cigarettes and photographed. It took a long time, but that's how it works in the film biz - you work for hours on something that is on-screen for approximately 2 seconds. But I do miss it.
