Materials of Runeterra
A big challenge for the team was trying to decipher how the look and feel of Legends of Runeterra could strike a balance between familiarity of League, while also feeling like it represented the world of Runeterra. Through this discovery process, we started to arrive the concept of a traveler's guide that a player could take on their journey through each region they played for or against. This started to unfold the visual metaphors for each item and how they translated into physical world materials that could be collected and showcased in the game client.
