Nancy Drew
I was brought onto the Nancy Drew main titles project after most of the design and animation was complete. My job was to figure out how to morph each letter from clean type at the beginning to the lovely textured/exploded final lockup.
I used a combination of ink footage, particles, and a little bit of frame-by-frame animation on each letter to get this look.

The opening feels dream-like, as though it is taking place behind layers of glass. I am a big fan of the creative director and team that worked on this!
