Medicine Boy - 021TCG 👁
I created this illustration of Medicine Boy, a South African psych rock band, as part of 021TCG.
021TCG is a trading card project, started by Spaza Studio, where South African creatives were tasked with illustrating notable local celebrities, musicians, influencers, etc, in their style to be used on the cards. I decided to honour the band's roots and create something a little bit dark in theme, with a psychedelic twist. 👁
I've worked with Medicine Boy before, so it was great to be able to do it again. Sadly, the band broke up shortly after 021TCG went live, but luckily the illustration managed to see the light before then!
