Perfect Weather App Icon

Perfect Weather will be released in the US App Store tomorrow and I’m incredibly proud of the app and final icon shown above.

We went through dozens of ideas and hundreds of iterations over the past few months. After lots of frustration and despair, the final icon was created in just a few hours in a burst of creativity.

Anyway, we definitely underestimated the shift to iOS 7. Clarity and simplicity are surprisingly hard to get just right. This shot couldn’t be more appropriate as a “come-back” after more than a year of not posting to Dribbble.
