Miró's Dream Garden

This dreamy garden has a couple references / associations I'd like to unpack.

The yellow snakes make me think simultaneously of the prehistoric snake mound in southern Ohio made by the Pre-Columbian Native American Adena culture and the yellow brick road in The Wizard of Oz.

The moon statue in the middle makes me think of Joan Miró, hence the title.
