SoFi Mobile App - Member Profile

The profile in the SoFi mobile app had barely been touched or modified in years, was riddled with bugs, and buried important tasks, making it difficult to manage your information. Earlier this year, I got a chance to design this entirely new surface that created a utility-minded way to view and manage your personal information in the app, as a V1 of what profile could mean for the app.

To inform this overhaul, I led a deep-dive audit of the current information architecture and led several workshops and research studies to inform the new structure. It was a lot of fun for someone like me, who's a little OCD when it comes to organization in UI :)

Introducing a totally new interaction model into our app (the slide-out navigation drawer) to help it feel more modern and delightful, along with crafting a new 📷 icon for the default photo state, were the collective cherries on top. 🍒
