RUNINHI Brand Family

RUNINHI is a new events company that that is all about running. The idea started with the first event, RUN777. Seven marathons, in seven days, in seven countries! After they added the three-day event, RUN333, the idea was to create a parent brand to keep event management and branding clean. The one-day marathon logo presented an exciting challenge to keep the 1 shape from looking too much like the 7.

The RUNINHI mark and RUN part of the event marks are a slightly modified Gotham Black; I illustrated the number forms.

Ollie Bath, the owner of the company, was more inspired by surfing brands than other brands in the running, shoe, or apparel spaces.

The italic lean of the event marks represent the lean-in of a runner. We wanted bright colors that work in gradients and also together as a group. Each event has it's own spectrum to prevent the numbers from being the only identifier.

Design and illustration were done entirely in Sketch App.
