Isle of Man ABC colouring book
In 2019 I worked with local author Gemma Hjerth to illustrate and design a rhyming children’s book teaching the ABCs of the Isle of Man, and the companion colouring and activity book published later that year. I created an original illustration for all 26 letters of the alphabet, and designed the book layouts and cover including supplemental pages teaching Manx facts, songs, and a pronunciation guide. These illustrations were then featured on a range of products and souvenirs, and the book was turned into a children’s musical which toured the Isle of Man in 2020.
This was such a big project and I’m so pleased with the finished results, both books are now available in bookstores across the Isle of Man and can be ordered online at isleofmanabc.com.
