The Don

The assignment: design a donut shop logo; there are no rules.

After searching the web for inspiration, I realized that most donut shops were very similar to the stereotypical bakery or cafe, but I wanted to be different. After I stopped looking at donut/cafe/bakery designs, I started looking at alliteration for inspiration. I started searching for words that began with "D". Then it hit me, The Don. The ultimate donut shop. I dreamed up "The Don: Doughnut Shop" as the name and instantly thought of the phrase, A doughnut you can't refuse. The Godfather themed donut shop was born. (Well, at least as far as the logo goes. )
