He must become greater, I must become less

"He must become greater, I must become less." -John 3:30

Experimenting a bit. Mostly wanted to see how abstract I could make the lion’s face. Didn’t spend too much time on it, just stretching.

Conceptually I wanted to play off the idea of us fading into the background and letting Jesus shine through. It’s not that we stopped working and let him take all the action it’s more that we give him all the credit. Work at making our actions point to Him and seek actions He would have us take.

That doesn’t always mean making less mistakes, either. Everyone messes up, it’s how we handle those mess ups that really matters!
