Trip - Mental health App Illustration

I’ve worked with the Z1 and Field Trip Health teams to create Trip, a digital product for guiding you through consciousness-expanding experiences, with the use of drugs or not ✨🌺

It has been an exciting project from zero to one, in which we had the challenge of crafting the first sketches, finding the color palette out and integrating music, designing the interface and user experience, and getting everything to flow.

Creating an ideal atmosphere for each trip was mandatory and involved decisions like what kind of scenes were going to accompany the users. After deciding we were going to use scenes inspired by nature, I developed a great variety of plants and landscapes throughout the entire application, and the integration of the design and development workforces turned out wonderful.

I think Trip is an ideal project to see how drawing can work in a digital product, how far it can go thanks to animation and how it can coexist with the rest of the elements of the different interfaces of the app. Projects like this make it clear that digital products are a strong new niche for illustrators who want to explore and expand their work options beyond the ad agencies world.
