Gamifying COVID Safety

Basic concept work for a game designed to embed COVID safety precautions in kids' memories while also having fun.

The game would be designed for kids ages 5-14, where kids are learning about boundaries and socially acceptable actions. The idea is to get kids comfortable with the idea of independence, while also promoting safety when dealing with a pandemic, and for long term sickness/wellness concerns.

The idea is to have a basic RPG, where a kid can build their character (in a basic way) and go through a set of levels. The kid will have the option to select two gear pieces to bring with them on each level and get more gear and avatar customizations by winning levels.

This game's most crucial element is that it must have a compelling story and a solid structure of contingencies and schedules. Many educational games and habit forming games fail to capture the player's full attention or build a meaningful narrative. The complete concept cannot be captured in a few designs, but it is critical to ensuring it is effective.
