Pros and cons of sock images ⚖

Hi everyone 👋 Today we are going to talk about pros and cons of stocks. Stocks are the place where people look for illustrations, photos, icons, etc.

Pros:
👍 extensive content;
👍 low prices;
👍 possibility to find an image by yourself, without turning to specialists;
👍 possibility to choose quickly a series of images for your project, if the deadline is pressing;
👍 if you constantly need images in vast numbers – then stocks are just the thing!

Cons:
👎 dominants of common topics, lack of specifics;
👎 sometimes it is hard to find a suitable image despite of the large base;
👎 often you can’t find required formats (svg, psd, png of icons in a right size)
👎 you have to modify the details (for example, add brand colors)
👎 if you need a series of images and icons, often you can’t find them in one matching style.
