The Planner - Novelty Value
My latest illustration for the Royal Town Planning Institute's official magazine 'The Planner' accompanies an article about reinventing familiar experiences.
The analogy of newly-produced retro record players is used, considering the difference between streaming music and playing old LPs on a turntable. The author believes pre-lockdown activities such as shopping and commuting can be brought back in a way that similarly reignites joy.
