Dash for iOS

Dash is an app that lets you track your fitness activity.

This symbol is meant to represent the winged feet of the Greek god Mercury, combined with the letter “D” from the app's name.

The symbol was then modelled, stylised, shaded and rendered using Blender, allowing me complete control of the lighting and material without having to re-draw a graphic over and over again— leaving the Blender renderer to re-draw the scene as I move elements around.
