Form In Itself Hazy IPA

This is part of an interesting series working with a local brewery where the brewer and I work somewhat in reverse to the normal process.

Usually we work where he has a concept/idea to go with a beer he has created but with this series I'm shooting him art and concept ideas that he then crafts a beer in response to.

This particular concept was to focus on the idea of form, balance, and visual language itself rather than a direct literal illustrative narrative and was born out of a visual act/react process that let the image create itself organically. This prompted the brewer to create a beer recipe in a similar process wherein he focused on the simplicity of flavors, ingredients, and the balance of those prior to determining what specific beer style it would be... thus the beer became what it wanted to be rather than starting with a pre-determined "IPA" and then just selecting what ingredients to put in it.
