The Concept of Digital Ownership

I'm fascinated by the concept of ownership and scarcity in a digital world. It feels kind of trivial now but as you imagine a future where more of life happens digitally, you can start to think about fundamental questions like how are scarcity and ownership determined? This is a concept to help visualize your digital assets and the history of their transactions. I can imagine an emphasis on the "certification" of that ownership as well as being able to "experience" your digital asset in either an augmented or virtual reality feature.
