I had done a third Pokemon piece around the same time as the Nidoking and Alakazam illustrations, but I had not been able to put it up until now. This time I wanted to tackle a grass type Pokemon so that I could try an entirely different palette that was far removed from the reds and purples of the other two. I also wanted to create a trainer character that was far more intimidating and intense than her designated Pokemon.
