YouTube Focus Assist

YouTube Focus Assist is a chrome extension that prevents YouTube users from going down the proverbial rabbit hole. The tags are sized and placed on video thumbnails so as to not obstruct it in any significant way while simultaneously being unmistakably indicative.

The Icon for the extension borrows its color from the YouTube logo along with the iconic play symbol with rounded corners added to fit with the overall design aesthetic. The white rounded corners make up the well recognized “focus” symbol from the domain of photography.
