The Night of Writing Dangerously 2014

This is the final poster I designed for the Night of Writing Dangerously, a fundraising event for National Novel Writing Month held in San Francisco annually.

The event always has a noir or Art Deco theme, so I decided to try working in the aesthetic of old noir film title cards. All type is custom lettering, save for the copyright line. Check the attachment for the full thing!
