Apple Kid Typeface

Apple Kid is a pixelated sans-serif inspired by the 1995 Super Nintendo cult classic Earthbound.

This was a personal project completed in July 2019. While playing Earthbound, I was drawn to the in-game font, which felt surprisingly lively for 16-bit type. After recreating the letter set, I used the Illustrator plugin Fontself to form a usable typeface.
