PNG-Document Export Icons

One design detail in Diagrams for Mac are the export icons. Instead of using the well-known »hills with sky« 🖼 for the image icon, we wanted this one to be a little special. Therefore I incorporated the wallpapers of each macOS version right into the icon.

Not only are Apple’s wallpapers hills anyway, but they also give a little joy in the UI when you spot it. Most users probably won’t notice, but it’s still worth the little extra work for those who will. And what’s better than bringing back some fun to software design.
