Point of Sale System UI
A point of sale system for Menuland, a popular cloud kitchen in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. Just like when you come to McDonald’s and expect a flawless food ordering experience, Menuland’s goal was to be at least as good or better.
Our task was to design a system enabling Menuland’s operators to quickly and intuitively select menu items for the customers and then send the order to the kitchen. It doesn’t matter whether the customer wants to dine in or use a drive-through, the whole process should be as efficient as possible, with no interruptions.
We conducted user research and then designed all of the screens optimised for tablets. Considering all of the potential edge cases, it was both a stimulating UX challenge as well as a cool UI task.
