Star-Spangled 200 Years and counting....

This is just a little poster that I decided to draw and hand letter for the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore. The war of 1812 came to an end in Baltimore over the course of the Battle that happened September 12-15, 1814. After the smoke had cleared and the bombs had stopped flying overhead, Frances Scott Key saw that the American flag still flew over Fort McHenry. The sight of the flag inspired him to write the poem that we know today as our Star Spangled Banner.
