Quadri - Cucina d'autore

Quadri — cucina d’autore is a new restaurant in Foggia, south of Italy. The concept idea comes from the young Chef Danilo Sponsillo, mixing art and food in an elegant and comfortable ambient. In fact, “Quadri” means painting, in italian. The chef welcomes local artists’ painting in the restaurant walls, changing the menù and paintings accordingly, every 3 months.

We decided to partner with them, building an industrial atmosphere, using black/woody/white colors and materials. As the art, they took from the past and traditional dishes, making them in a new and contemporary way.

Mixing a classy lowercase lettering and strong imagery of making/serving fine dining was to go for the identity. For them, we designed an elegant logotype, working on details and fine printing on printed graphics. For example, both the business cards and menù have this fine printing that make the brand premium and luxury.

We taught that art should be someway in the identity, so we designed a thank you card, with a picture of one of the painting present in the restaurant walls. This resulted to be really appreciated by clients, a lot of them posted a story on their Instagram profile enlarging the brand awereness.
