World Hockey Alliance

Officially launching my largest passion project yet. The World Hockey Alliance (WHA). The WHA is a fictional hockey league with over 36 teams in North America and 16 international teams. All 56 teams compete in designated regionals with the top 2 teams in each region, plus 2 wild card teams out of the 56, compete in the Global Tournament for their chance to win the Global Cup. The top four seeds receive a bye in 12 team tournament and after each round teams get reseeded for fair matchups.

As of this post, over 14 teams have been created in partnership with @hatclub for their "Hat Club Hockey League." Future teams will be added (not necessarily with HatClub) as the year goes on, culminating in a final project of either creating a simulation league or a @cjzilligen style edit with a @easportsnhl game.
