The Grass Is Green Where You Water It

✦ THE GRASS IS GREEN WHERE YOU WATER IT ✦

And let me tell you, grass takes a long time to grow just like personal development of any kind. You just have to get out there and water it everyday. Progress is slow, but it’s amazing how much you can grow in a year when you look back rather than looking at everyone else’s grass.

In 2021 I renamed myself to Red Halftone and opened a proper company for it. At the time, it felt more like uprooting everything rather than growth. I’m learning the best way to deal with difficult things in life is to see them as opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge. It’s a lesson I know I’ll keep learning over and over because difficult things are still difficult when you’re experiencing them. The fruit of labor is looking back and reflecting.

I’m setting goals this year which is something I’ve never done. These will be the metaphorical patches of grass I’m preparing to water. I want to evolve more stylistically, create more physical pieces, and adhere to a specific schedule. I’ve spent the last week pretty much off social media, client work, and distractions to focus on planning what’s next and to recharge.

Wishing you all the best in this new year. What do you guys hope to do this year?__

PS: Prints available in the shop. (I knooow, I finally got my shit together for prints.)
