Anonymity & Traces II

The project is aimed at designing a printed visual publication on the chosen topic of ‘Anonymity and Traces.’ The images are collected from different sources (internet, library, famous artists, and photographers) to create an image archive to be used in the book. 

The images range from abstract patterns, illustrations, to photographic portraits and street photography. They have been digitally manipulated to a duotone threshold treatment, to further generate a sense of ambiguity. 

The book also has acetate inserts and cutouts to layer images and generate uncertainty of which image is placed where and how it's being completed. The minimal textual elements in the book are scribed in a coded visual language that I had learned when I was a kid and comes along with a cipher to decode the text.
