So a bit more on this project if anyones interested. It's a concept I came up with last year but never had time to pursuit, the idea is to pull in top news around a market on a specific day, as well as aggregate "micro content" (twitter, facebook updates, irc chats etc).

The result of which is a historical snapshot of the sentiment (more on this later) on a given day within a market to be used as supplementary information to aid in understanding price shifts.
