Mid-Century Modern House #1
I have always been drawn to the idealized nature of mid-century modern. The design style is excited about the future and an optimistic view of technology. Feel like the world today could use a little bit more of that positive point of view! This drawing takes a bold color palette and marries it to traditional mid-century modern architecture and tosses in a 1960's van for good measure. The background is abstract to represent the malleable nature of the future. It is always in flux and full of opportunity!
I had a great time creating this piece and title this piece #1 with the idea that this will be an ongoing creation to build upon.
