Preters is an AI powered translation practice and foreign language learning tool that is a made by a team of machine translation researchers, software engineers and translators. Preters is the second half of the English word for interpreters. But the word Preters comes from the ancient Greek word Petasus, a type of sun hat worn by the ancient Greeks. Hermes in Greek mythology wore a winged Petasus, so he can fly and act as a messenger of messages between Zeus and the gods in Olympus.
