The Nook — Album Cover
The clouds in the final cover were taken from a landscape photograph in the public domain. It's an ordinary view with the potential to be transformed into something "dreamlike and ethereal", which was Michael's vision for the cover.
The process of cropping, blending, blurring, and manipulating the colours transforms the photograph into a suitable artwork.
