National Parks Poster

It’s finally here!

About 3 months ago, I created a National Park inspired design as an outlet to refuel my creative juices and to work on something that was just plain fun and exciting to me. Traveling and the outdoors are big passions of mine so this theme was perfect to work on something new. I finished the first park and immediately thought to do another. I did a handful of these parks initially and figured I would only work on the 10 or 15 most popular parks and then finish this little experiment.

As I worked on each park, I would also look up a few fun facts about the parks to learn a little more about them. After reading about these parks and researching different aspects to focus on for the design of each one, I slowly began to fall in love with each and every one of them. This was never the intention from the beginning, but the more I did, the more I wanted to keep working on this project! I made it a goal to finish all 63 parks and to complete one park within a day or 2. I also constrained myself to use only one line thickness for each park which was fun but also very challenging.

I am so excited to FINALLY present this 18” x 24” Giclée print which is now available! $3 of each print will be donated to the National Parks Foundation.
