Happyscribe is an all-in-one transcription and subtitles platform that leverages state of the art artificial intelligence in combination with top-tier language professionals to provide high-quality text outputs. In short, it's pretty spectacular SaaS product.

So why are we here then? Well, Happyscribe nailed the software and technical aspects of the platform, but the design could use a little tender love and care. To that end, I decided to explore a few redesigns, this one being one of the main views "transcriptions".

I started by refining the universal elements of the platform to simplify and clarify user actions. For example, condensing workspace management, enhancing user avatar dropdown to tuck away low action/priority items (feedback, settings, dark mode toggle etc.). Next, I tackled the main interface, polishing and improving the overall experience and functionality. Extracting the folders to create a hierarchical separation for better organization and file management. I then applied some visual and data optimizations to the table view that increased information digestion and made for a better overall experience. There's much more I could go into, but I feel this is a good place to stop for now but stay tuned, there's more to come.
