Warhammer logo

I love @warhammerofficial ( @gamesworkshop )! I love everything they do. Every time their logo comes near my eyesight I take at least a minute to look and admire the simplicity of it. It is just perfectly done. I always wanted to work on a version of the logo where the depth of the hammer is introduced, just to update it a bit, at least the illusion of the 3D, but not to affect the current version in any way. I think it can work, not as the main or updated/redesigned logo but more like an option, or variation of the already perfect design. What do you think, does it work?🙂
