FeatureMap is a story mapping software that provides unlimited virtual space for its users to build and share beautiful story maps and collaborate on their projects in a secure environment.

FeatureMap brings you all relevant story mapping and communications features, such as: creating checklists, attaching documents, assigning tasks, leaving comments, exporting files, creating workspaces, inviting members, and empowering users so they can work on projects in the most efficient way.

Challenge

The primary challenge in the flow of inviting new members to the folder right from the Dashboard was to devise the best way to add new members and adjust their permissions in one place.

We solved this challenge by allowing users to easily add new members in one step by searching (name or email) and adding group permissions to all members.

The secondary challenge was to devise the best way to easily visually distinguish old and new, newly added members in the table.
