Package Design Illustrations for GoodHabit (Winter Edition)

About The Project

The customer (GoodHabit) wanted a set of three illustrations that would go well for their three range of nuts/seeds/dry fruits products.

Therefore, I came up with the idea of creating one scenery that would depict the sunrise, sunset, and night: three times of the day for their three different products.

My Work Process

As always, my process is divided into four parts:

1. The communication part: I discuss with the customer more about the brief and details about their branding and identity, and I do a lot of research.

2. The written description of what I am going to create. I send the customer the description for review.

3. The Sketch: I send it for review after it's done.

4. The coloring: this is where the magic happens

The Sketch

Testing

I always test the visuals by putting them in the context of their use.

Usually, I do illustrations for SaaS companies and UI, so I always try them on the website. Since this is package design work, I had to consider several factors such as leaving a transparent window for the product to be seen, folding, and leaving room for margins.

The process was not much different from my usual illustration methods, and I learned so much more about creating visuals for printing and packaging design. I am a self-taught illustrator, so I am used to learning and adapting to new mediums.

The Final Result
