Archaeological Museum in Krakow – Logo redesign

The current logo shows Idol from Zbrucz, colloquially known as Światowid, which is being displayed in the Main Building and is one of the most valuable exhibits in the museum's collection. The statue is dated to the 11th century, is 257 cm high and is divided into three horizontal parts, each of which shows a different relief.

The new logo is a simplification of the old logo and it shows a very distinctive division of the statue into three horizontal parts. Thanks to this simplification,

the sign complies with modern standards, can be used in various formats, and everyone who knows the museum also knowns the statue, so the logo itself should be legible both for people who know the museum and for new visitors who are visiting the museum for the first time and which will see the statue

on the exhibition.
